Could you give me a link to mail message with invitation? 15:33 < genete> sure 15:34 < WishMasterNND> Hi there, I tried "java -jar /usr/share/java/saxon8.jar input.svg svg2synfig.xsl > synfig.sif" in order to convert a svg for synfig. Unfortunately, if I import the resulting file, it seems to be screwed up. Some parts of the svg are contained, but then there are strange fillings where there shouldn't be anything and some parts are missing. 15:34 < WishMasterNND> The SVG I tried to convert ist just one single path. 15:36 < genete> Zelgadis: aren't you joined to synfig-devl@lists.sourceforge.net 15:37 < genete> Zelgadis: I've sent you the mail I received from synfig-devel 15:37 < genete> WishMasterNND: Maybe you can ask to the original developer of the java application. 15:38 < genete> I've not used/tested it so far and don't know java so cannot help you so much there :) 15:39 < Zelgadis> genete: No, I'm not subscribed. 15:41 < genete> Zelgadis: If you go to Monteral I wonder in which earth direction will you fly :) 15:42 < Zelgadis> Moscow - London - Montreal 15:42 < Zelgadis> I have a passport, but I need invitation to get VISA. 15:42 < genete> Can I help on that? 15:43 < WishMasterNND> mhm ... without the possibility to import SVGs, Synfig is pretty useless. 15:43 < pixelbot> http://synfig.org/Svg2synfig or http://synfig.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11 15:43 < WishMasterNND> And this bot is useless, too. 15:44 < genete> WishMasterNND: things are useful in the right hands :) 15:45 < Zelgadis> genete: I suppose I need to subscribe to mailing list and answer to Valessio. 15:45 < genete> well, I think you can reply directly 15:45 < Zelgadis> Ah, OK. 15:45 -!- prokoudine [n=avp@195.239.66.165] has joined #synfig 15:46 < Zelgadis> Also I plan to consult with prokoudine about that 15:46 < Zelgadis> Ha 15:46 < Zelgadis> Hey, prokoudine - just in time. 15:48 < prokoudine> Zelgadis: hi 15:48 < prokoudine> consult on what? 15:49 < Zelgadis> I want to represent Synfig on LGM2009. 15:49 < WishMasterNND> genete: But not if they can't import SVG :P 15:49 < pixelbot> http://synfig.org/Svg2synfig or http://synfig.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11 15:50 < WishMasterNND> If you e. g. have a Corporate Design that you want to animate, you can't just recreate everything to look *like* it did in your original files. 15:50 < genete> WishMasterNND: have you visited the bot links? 15:51 < prokoudine> Zelgadis: aha 15:52 < WishMasterNND> genete: Have you read what I wrote when I entered this channel?
